The FA Cup Final: Manchester City v Manchester United | Preview
This is the first time since 1885 that the FA Cup final will be contested by the same two clubs in consecutive years. City were victorious 12 months ago, thanks to two goals from captain Ilkay Gundogan, either side of a penalty converted by United captain Bruno Fernandes.
Erik ten Hag’s side – who reached a record 22nd final, following a tight penalty shoot-out victory against Coventry City in the semi-finals – are aiming to win the competition for a 13th time, while another City success will be their third FA Cup trophy in the last six seasons, and eighth overall.
