The nation’s favourite master dog trainer, Graeme Hall, is back with a brand-new eighth series of Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly on 5 in early 2026, marking the show’s 100th episode milestone.

As always, Graeme will be travelling the length and breadth of the country to help exasperated owners dealing with their unruly dogs. With his clear advice, easy to follow training methods, and long-lasting fixes, Graeme aims to bring balance back to the relationship between people and their four-legged companions.
But more often than not, it’s the owners who need the most guidance — and that’s his toughest challenge. His mantra remains: any dog, any size, any problem. But it’s not just naughty dogs he’ll be training, as in this new series, Graeme throws the doors open to his new puppy school. Filmed on the outskirts of the Cotswolds, the new puppy school follows Graeme as he works with five new puppy owners.
Graeme takes them on a journey through all the essential puppy training milestones, from the best way to socialise puppies, teach them the basics of sit, down, stay, lead walking and recall as well as the art of good manners. Viewers will follow the highs, lows, and breakthroughs every step of the way.
Graeme is also on a quest to answer the nation’s non-behavioural doggie dilemmas with Paws for Thought. From grooming and diet to behaviour quirks and health tips, nothing is off-limits. With the help of his handpicked team of professionals including vets, pet nutritionists and award-winning groomers, viewers will follow owners and their dogs learning useful practical tips and transformative treatments.
In the opening episode, a loving home is possessed by an unruly spirit, whose hellhound behaviour is tearing a family apart. When Marie adopted Chinese Crested Buddy, he came with an ominous warning, but she just couldn’t resist his little face. He most certainly loves his mum, but the same can’t be said of the rest of the family who skirt around this furry Demogorgon in fear. Can Graeme rescue them from their upside-down world?
A picky pooch with gourmet taste is on hunger strike unless he gets a song and dance. Four-legged foodie Bobby might just take the Michelin star for fussy eating. He demands to be fed outdoors (no matter the weather), by hand, and of course every meal must be accompanied by a show – the star teenager Sienna. Nicky and husband Lewis have found themselves in quite a pickle – can Graeme bring the curtains down on Bobby’s tiring performance?
And finally, we meet the puppy class of 2026! In their first class, the group will be covering one of the most important milestones – socialisation. The owners will learn the best way to introduce their little ones to the world around them in the most positive way.
Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly returns Tuesday 8th January on 5.
