CORONATION STREET PREVIEW: WHAT'S IN STORE AFTER CHRISTMAS, EPISODE SYNOPSIS REVEALED

Monday 29th December 2025

Sarah tells Kit that Carla still isn’t responding to emails which seems odd. Kit flips through Carla’s diary. The guests gather in the bistro for George and Glenda’s joint party. Nick chats to Todd and suggests they go for a run together. When Sarah lets slip that Nick was Todd’s first ever crush, Theo glares over at them. Christina’s annoyed to discover Glenda failed to order a cake.

Theo tells her that he and Todd will go and fetch one. As he steers Todd towards the door, Billy watches with concern. Having collected the cake, Theo rounds on Todd for flirting with Nick. Todd tries to reason with him but Theo climbs in the car and drives off leaving Todd stranded. 

Will puts pressure on Ben to build bridges with Maggie. Ben suspects Maggie’s put him up to it but Will gives nothing away. Maggie does her best to win Ben round, admitting she was wrong to have a go at Eva. 

Abi tells Carl she’s off out shopping. Alone with Tracy she breaks down, fearing for her relationship. When Tyrone asserts that he’s going to skip his physio session, Evelyn reckons he’s scared because today was supposed to be a first attempt at walking. 

Tuesday 29th December 2025

An ever desperate Becky’s on the ropes as she pushes on with her plan to flee with Lisa and Betsy. How far will she go to make her escape with her family? With Theo doing his best to come between Todd and Billy, is his abuse about to be exposed?

As Maggie offers Eva a half hearted apology, the Driscolls must decide if they can move forward. Tearful Abi leans on her unlikely confidante Tracy. Will Tyrone act on his gran Evelyn’s advice to face his fears?

Wednesday 31st December 2025

Kit asks Asha to do some digging and find out from the ambulance crew who looked after Costello if he mentioned any particular words. Asha calls Kit and informs him that according to her colleague, Costello kept repeating 3 words. Kit realises it’s a three word location reference.

With Todd preying on his mind, Billy quizzes Alya about the domestic abuse Yasmeen suffered at the hands of Geoff and how to spot the signs. George, Christina, Billy and Summer join Todd for New Year’s Eve drinks in the Rovers. As Todd waits for Theo to arrive, it’s clear he’s nervous. What has Todd got planned?

Carl tells Ronnie that he wants to go see his Mum’s body to say a final goodbye. Ronnie offers to go with him. At the hotel, Ryan takes a call chasing up an invoice. But when he tries to access the hotel accounts he discovers that Carl has changed the passwords, leaving him suspicious. Carl confides in Ronnie how his Mum never showed him any love as a child and that’s why he finds it difficult to love as an adult. When Ronnie questions if he loves Abi, how will Carl reply? 

When Evelyn offers to mind the kids so they can spend New Year’s Eve in the pub, Fiz and Tyrone are delighted. As Tyrone hobbles in on his crutches, everyone cheers. Looking at all the happy faces Kevin feels totally alone.

Thursday January 1st 2026

THE PRESSURE MOUNTS FOR BECKY Kit visits Costello in hospital and tells him that he located the flat, he knows it belongs to him, but there was nobody there. Costello gives nothing away. With Kit having gone, Becky emerges from the en suite and thanks Costello for covering for her. Lisa tells Becky that she’s prepared to move to Spain with her but not until she’s seen Carla as she deserves to hear the news from her. As Betsy and Lauren hang out at No.6, Becky decides it’s time to speed things up with horrifying consequences! 

Todd’s on edge when Billy and Summer drop by. Theo quizzes Billy about ‘the parishioner’ who is suffering domestic abuse. Billy’s evasive and suspects Theo knows he’s onto him. When they leave Theo rounds on Todd, seeing red. Horrified at what he’s done, Theo tries to blame Todd for causing him to lose his temper. When Theo’s phone rings, Todd seizes the opportunity and does a runner. But when he listens to a message from Theo telling him he can’t live without him, will Todd be swayed? 

Sally shows Debbie into No.4 to reveal Glenda, Bernie and Christina ready for a pre-wedding pamper party. Debbie’s touched. When she confides in her friends how she wishes Kevin would bury the hatchet with Carl just for one day, Sally calls at the garage to talk to Kevin. Fired up, Kevin finds Carl and tells him he needs a word. As Shona puts away the Christmas decorations, she suffers a twinge and struggles to draw breath. David insists he’ll take her to get checked out. 

Friday 2nd January 2026

As Sally, Bernie, Christina and Glenda help Debbie with her wedding prep, Debbie reveals that she’s broken her specs and is worried it’s a bad omen, Bernie promises to find something to bring her luck. But as the guests head into the wedding venue, where are Bernie and Debbie? Having made her grand entry, but sensing the tension between Kevin and Carl, Debbie orders them to pack it in. As the wedding gets underway, and Debbie performs with the dementia choir, will Carl and Kevin be able to keep their promise or is their feud about to ruin Debbie and Ronnie’s dream day?

Abi finds a bag full of cash in the boot of Carl’s car but when they pull up at the hotel, Abi opens the boot and discovers the bag is gone. Finding Kevin outside, Abi reveals she thinks Carl is planning to do a runner. Kevin’s incandescent. As Kevin stands up to make his speech, what has he got planned? 

Lisa hands Sarah an envelope and asks her to return Carla’s engagement ring to her when she finally shows up. At the Chariot Square, Becky persuades Lisa that they need to ditch their phones for safety reasons. Becky heads out promising she’ll be back with new phones before they leave for the ferry. 

As the guests sit down to dinner, Todd spills orange juice down his shirt. Theo orders him to go and rinse it. Billy follows Todd into the gents where he’s horrified to find Todd rinsing his shirt in the basin, revealing the bruises on his body. Todd assures Billy that he’s as much at fault as Theo. 

As the coach leaves for the wedding Asha reveals she’s stopped taking her anti-depressants, Amy’s concerned. When Tracy spots Amy confiding in Cassie, she rails at Cassie for cosying up to her daughter.
