Marking the 20th anniversary of the September 11 terror attacks, Children of 9/11: Our Story tells the life stories of six young people whose fathers were killed in the attacks, either before they were born, or before they had a chance to meet.
A banker who had a meeting in the South Tower; a mechanic who was on a job in the North Tower; a firefighter who lost his life saving others; a passenger on flight AA11; a military official working in the Pentagon; and a man from Yemen who died helping guests evacuate from a hotel.
The film explores how a figure they never knew and an event they didn't witness have shaped these young people's lives, and those of their families.
Children of 9/11: Our Story is an intimate film made up of home video shot over the course of a lifetime and also features the candid accounts of the women who lost their husbands on this earth-shattering day.
Airs Monday 16th August at 9pm on Channel 4.
