Celebrity Eggheads | Series Preview (Channel 5)

Jeremy Vine returns with the popular teatime quiz, this time with celebrities!



Episode 1: The first episode is a Channel 5 special. The challenger team is made up of a host of familiar Channel 5 favourites, including broadcaster and regular Jeremy Vine contributor Anne Diamond, presenter of The Gadget Show Jon Bentley, Milkshake! presenter Kemi Majeks, and presenter and author Gyles Brandreth.



Episode 2: The next challengers may be able to move on the dancefloor, but how will they fare against TV’s most formidable quiz team in a battle of knowledge? In the Strictly celebrity special, dancer Ian Waite, entertainment reporter Richard Arnold and politician Ann Widdecombe take on the Eggs to win money for their charities.



Episode 3: In episode three, a new team of celebrities takes on the Eggheads, these challengers could pose a serious threat to the most formidable team on television, as each of these team members have appeared on Celebrity Mastermind — some having even won it. Presenter Martin Roberts, actress and comedian Lucy Porter, broadcaster Aasmah Mir and actor Shaun Williamson make up the team, but do they have what it takes to defeat the Eggheads and take home the money for their charities?



Episode 4: Next, the Eggheads take on a team of former politicians and political journalists in this quizzing battle. Former Members of Parliament Caroline Flint and Anna Soubry, and respected journalists Iain Dale and John Pienaar take on the most formidable quiz team on TV. Can they beat the Eggheads and take away the prize pot for their charities?



Episode 5: Finally, a team of all-star comedians take on the most formidable quiz team on TV. The team made up of Stephen K Amos, impressionist Jon Culshaw, comedian and presenter Zoe Lyons and funny-man Joe Pasquale. Will they be able to beat the Eggheads and have the last laugh by taking home the money for charity?



Celebrity Eggheads begins Monday 14th February at 6:30pm on Channel 5.
