All-new Come Dine with Me: The Professionals - Britain's favourite daytime cooking competition but for the first time ever with professional chefs battling it out in the kitchen - celebrates the wonderful variety of restaurants and the amazing characters who work in them across the UK.
In each episode, three local restaurant duos go head-to-head as they take it in turns to host the others for a three-course dinner and prove they've got what it takes to win the £1000 prize. At the end of each meal, the visiting restaurant pairs score their host's dinner out of 20, with the highest scorers overall scooping the prize.
Expect stunning cooking, hilarious hosting, no shortage of drama and some secret scoring, as these restaurateurs do battle for the coveted cash prize. First to host in Yorkshire are purveyors of posh nosh, chef/owner Ben and front of house Jo, at their intimate dining restaurant, The Barn.
Will their love-fuelled menu set their guests' pulses racing? Second hosts, chef Brian and his business partner and other half Lisa, hope that their eclectic menu of French classics and a platter of street food at Disco Kitchen will impress their guests. But will some kitchen friction spill over and spoil their night?
For the final night, it's the turn of Scandi-inspired restaurant Fint, as restaurant owner and chef Simon and his manager Sakina put on a spread for their guests. But will some of their quirky vegan alternatives prove too leftfield for the others?
