Bangers & Cash | Series 12 Preview (U&Yesterday)

Bangers & Cash follows the Mathewsons family auction business in the lovely village of Thornton Le Dale and people’s passion for classic cars.

Each car collected for auction has a unique story to tell. It was dad’s car, the car you first bought as a teenager or the car you always wanted but never had the cash to buy – until now.

In the first episode of the new series, Derek heads off to Colchester to pick up the type of vehicle that comes along once in a blue moon. It’s a 1960 Aston Martin DB4 that has been sitting under a tarpaulin in a garage that has collapsed round it for 40 years. It’s in terrible condition but could still be worth a not so small fortune.

Meanwhile, Paul and Charlie head into the countryside to collect a couple of tractors that have been kept running thanks to a farmer’s ingenuity.
