Bake Off: The Professionals | Preview (Channel 4)

The search for the best patisserie team in Britain returns with a brand-new batch of pastry chefs hailing from hotels, patisserie shops and small ventures around the UK.

The series is hosted by comedian Ellie Taylor alongside previous Bake Off star Liam Charles. As always, the teams will face two days of testing challenges judged by two world-class pâtissier experts, Benoit Blin and Cherish Finden.

The series starts with a secret challenge, which sees them working without a recipe to create one of Cherish's own creations, the Apple Tin. Then they serve up a food-and-drink-inspired showpiece with a hidden Victoria sandwich elevated to new heights, far from its humble beginnings.

Bake Off: The Professionals returns Tuesday 27th May on Channel 4.
