POINTLESS TO FILM OVER 200 NEW EPISODES

BBC gives greenlight for bumper commission of teatime quiz show.

Broadcast reports that BBC's Pointless is to return to the studio in November, without a studio audience, and film over 200 episodes.

The 227 episode commission will consist of 165 civilian episodes (three series worth) and 62 celebrity specials (over two series).
