PAUL O'GRADY SATURDAY NIGHT LINE UP SHELVED BY ITV WITH NO PLANS FOR FUTURE SERIES

Paul O'Grady's latest TV project has been shelved by ITV, TV Zone understands.

Paul O'Grady's Saturday Night Line Up was a Saturday night comedy entertainment show, asking much-loved celebrities to pit themselves against each other to find out what the British public really thinks of them.

Airing in Autumn 2021 for one series and a Christmas special, the series struggled in the ratings with most episodes watched by less than two million viewers. ITV have confirmed to TV Zone that there's no plans for future series.

Each episode featured four celebrity guests from the worlds of TV, film, sport and music and throughout the show, the famous faces were asked to literally line up in order of best to worst or most to least, in response to a variety of questions, scenarios and dilemmas presented to them by Paul.

To win a point, the celebrities had to try to match their position in the line-up with the order that the surveyed 1,000 members of the British public have put them in.

Previous episodes of Paul O'Grady's Saturday Night Line Up are available to view on ITV Hub.
