Shark! Celebrity Infested Waters

Monday, ITV1

The show which dares a group of ocean-phobic celebrities to confront their greatest fear – sharks. Throughout their adrenaline-fueled, challenge-heavy journey in the Bahamas – the shark capital of the world – these A-listers will push past their limits to come nose to nose with nature’s ‘villains.’



Their firsthand experiences will provide immeasurable excitement and new perspective; they’ll come to appreciate sharks’ valuable place on the food chain and in our ecosystem, recognizing that a world devoid of these notoriously terrifying creatures is downright frightening.

The extraordinary story of how the human species, Homo sapiens, first emerged, where the discoveries of recent years are revolutionising the understanding of humanity's origin story.


The Couple Next Door

Monday, Channel 4

Brilliant heart surgeon Charlotte Roberts (Annabel Scholey) and her husband, consultant anaesthetist Jacob (Sam Palladio) are a high-flying busy married couple. But things soon turn upside down when their mysterious new hospital colleague Mia (Aggy K Adams) rents out the house next door.



Working her way into Charlotte and Jacob’s confidence and eventually their bed, Mia also quickly befriends cul-de-sac outcast Alan (Hugh Dennis) whilst Charlotte has to handle the reappearance of past flame Leo (Sendhil Ramamurthy).


The Great British Sewing Bee

Tuesday, BBC One

Sara Pascoe returns to the sewing room with 12 new hopefuls for a brand new series of The Great British Sewing Bee. In week one, judges Patrick Grant and Esme Young challenge the sewers to prove their ability to create shape. First up, the Pattern Challenge sees them crafting a tie-front blouse, using gathers to add volume.

Wednesday, U&Alibi

London 1946 is the setting for series one, with viewers introduced to the appropriately named Gabriel Book (Mark Gatiss) who owns a bookshop in Archangel Lane. If his War was packed with espionage and secrets, Book’s Peace is just as full of adventure! Now he helps the police solve the strangest of crimes and the knottiest of murders. But his close association to the force is not without its dangers.


The Hit List

Saturday, BBC One

Marvin and Rochelle Humes host the compulsive, play-along music quiz. Contestants simply have to name hit songs and artists to win a possible £10,000, but can they stay cool under pressure?



The teams are best friends Izzy and Ellie from Sheffield, husband and wife Joy and Joe from Nottingham and dad and son Tom and Paul from Liverpool, all hoping to hit the right note and win a chance to bag that cash prize. Get ready to play along and shout out the answers at the telly!

After her bittersweet success in series one, Karen has been promoted to Detective Inspector and seemingly given the authority she has long been fighting for. Just as she’s getting into the swing of her powerful new role, she is assigned an infamous unsolved case that will put her under intense scrutiny; from her boss, from the media, and ultimately, from sinister forces that would rather the past stayed in the past.
