The Wall (New Series)

Return of the game show hosted by Danny Dyer, in which contestants answer questions that combine knowledge, strategy and luck for the chance to win life-changing prizes. Sisters Nichola and Paula from Co Antrim take part in this first edition, facing tricky questions and big decisions as they bid to win money for their family's future. The questions are asked by Angela Rippon.
Top Gear (New Series)
Sunday 04 October, 8pm, BBC One
Freddie Flintoff, Chris Harris and Paddy McGuinness return with the motoring magazine, beginning by heading to Paddy's home town of Bolton to test three new company cars by spending 24 hours in them - with no getting out. Plus, Chris heads to Italy to put the Ferrari SF90 supercar through its paces.
Michael Palin: Travels Of A Lifetime (New Series)

Michael Palin revisits his travel series, beginning with Around the World in 80 Days. He draws on his personal archive of audio recordings and diary notebooks, and reflects on how he became a seasoned global traveller. The first episode revisits his visits to Venice, Cairo, Saudi Arabia, India, Hong Kong and China - a nation that was closed to most westerners at the time. Featuring contributions from fans and friends including David Attenborough, Joanna Lumley and Simon Reeve.
