PHYSICAL: 100 SCORES US AND EUROPEAN ADAPTATIONS ON NETFLIX

High-stakes competition series Physical: 100 is being adapted for the US and European markets with local versions of the hit Korean series. Physical: 100 became a breakout success around the world, soaring to the Top 10 in over 80 countries.



The original format sees elite athletes, bodybuilders and military professionals compete in tasks which test their raw strength, endurance, mental toughness and fortitude.



Earlier this month Netflix announced the recommission of Squid Game: The Challenge for a third series, ahead of its second series airing later this year. Players face off in grueling games pulled straight from the scripted series, build strategic alliances, and consider cutthroat betrayals, all for a chance to take home a whopping $4.56 million.


As they compete through a series of games inspired by the original show - plus surprising new additions - their strategies, alliances, and character will be put to the test while competitors are eliminated around them. The stakes are high, but in this game the worst fate is going home empty-handed.



Meanwhile, Netflix announced the commission of new reality competition series, The Golden Ticket, inspired by Wonka and Road Dahl's 1964 novel Charlie And The Chocolate Factory.


The show is the latest Roald Dahl project from Netflix, who partnered with the Road Dahl Story in 2021. This all-new immersive series will see a group of contestants step into the 'whimsical wonderland' - if they have a golden ticket.


However, the golden ticket will only take the players so far and to succeed they will need to adapt and strategise as they take on games, tests and temptations designed to prove their instincts, resilience, and ability to thrive in the chaos of a retro-futuristic dreamscape.
