RATINGS REPORT: 12-18 JANUARY 2026, MOST WATCHED SHOWS REVEALED

The latest 7-day consolidated ratings for programmes shown or released for the last week have been released by BARB. The top-50 breakdown can be found on BARB's website here.



The Traitors continued to dominate, starting the week with 11,581,300 viewers and ending the week with 11,759,100. The BBC launched it new Saturday night schedule with returning favourites Gladiators and Michael McIntyre's Big Show watched by 5,139,900 and 5,427,100 respectively.



In drama, Call The Midwife topped the week with 6,062,700 on Sunday night, followed by The Night Manager with 4,990,200. Opposite on ITV, After The Flood returned to 3,429,200 whilst Red Eye concluded with 4,324,000. Agatha Christie's Seven Dials launched on Netflix with 2,863,000.


Lynley continued on Monday night with 4,125,200 whilst Patience continued on Channel 4 with 2,878,800. Comedy series Can You Keep A Secret? with Dawn French continued with 2,962,200, Would I Lie To You with 4,153,899 and Amanda & Alan's Greek Job with 2,996,600.



ITV's Saturday night line-up of The Masked Singer and The 1% Club continued with 3,217,500 and 3,794,700 respectively.
