NEVER MIND THE BUZZCOCKS TO BE REVIVED BY SKY ONE

The music-themed panel show is reportedly being revived by Sky One after five years off-air.

The show originally aired on BBC Two, where it ran for 28 series between 1996-2015. BBC Two axed the show in 2015 to "create space for new entertainment formats".

British Comedy Guide explain: "Details of the new panellists and host have yet to be confirmed, but at the weekend Paul Chowdhry posted on Instagram a now-deleted photo of himself on set at Riverside Studios with rapper Dizzee Rascal. BCG understands that there have also been changes to the show's format."

UPDATE: Sunday 13th September 2020

Comedian Greg Davies is reportedly set to present the revamped show.

A source told The Sun: “It was axed by BBC2 because they wanted to make room for new shows, which was a massive shame. Sky saw how good it was and have decided to bring it back with a slight makeover. Greg will be a great fixture as he doesn’t miss a beat, and they’ve already secured Dizzee Rascal and Paul Chowdhry to be among the first panellists.”
