MR BEAN ANIMATED SERIES TO RETURN FOR FOURTH SERIES ON ITVX

The animated series of Mr Bean has been recommissioned for a fourth series by Banijay’s Tiger Aspect Kids & Family in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery and ITVX.

Based on the original Mr Bean series, starring Rowan Atkinson, this colourful, quirky and evergreen comedy animation is one for the whole family. 52x11 minute episodes have been commissioned for ITVX Kids.

A comedy animation for fans of all ages, following the daily trials and tribulations of Mr Bean (aided by his best friend Teddy of course!) as he stumbles from one mishap to the next, always finding complex solutions to the simplest of problems.

Rowan Atkinson said: "I have always enjoyed this iteration of the Mr. Bean character and the particular freedoms he has in animated form. We can take him into space or down a tin mine, without me personally having to suffer the consequences...

"The animation process creatively is always fascinating and I’m looking forward to getting stuck into the new series very much."
