McDONALD AND DODDS: DETECTIVE DRAMA CANCELLED AFTER FOUR SERIES ON ITV

ITV have shelved Bath-based detective drama McDonald And Dodds, starring Tala Gouveia and BAFTA Award winner Jason Watkins, with no plans for future series.

Each feature-length episode featured a new murder mystery with the smart and ambitious DCI McDonald and the quietly brilliant DS Dodds working together to crack the cases. Further casting included Claire Skinner (Outnumbered) and Charlie Chambers (EastEnders).

Guest cast in the last series included Toby Stephens (Lost In Space), singer-songwriters Pixie Lott and Will Young, Hugh Quarshie (Stephen), Lydia Leonard (Gentleman Jack), Daniel Lapaine (Catastrophe), Dipo Ola (Landscapers), John Gordon Sinclair (Gregory’s Girl) and Ace Bhatti (Line of Duty).
