DANCING ON ICE: MATT RICHARDSON JOINS CAST AFTER RUFUS HOUND DEPARTURE

Comedian Matt Richardson will be joining the line up of Dancing On Ice from the weekend after Rufus Hound was forced to withdraw from the competition following a positive Coronavirus test.

In a statement, ITV said: "We can confirm that following a positive test result, Rufus Hound is unable to return to Dancing On Ice this weekend. Although Rufus and his partner Robin Johnstone's time on the ice has been all too brief, they can be truly proud of their achievements...

"We thank them for all their hard work and commitment to the show. When the full cast reunite for the series final our hope is Rufus Hound will be able to be back in the studio with everyone...

With the departure of Rufus Hound and Robin Johnstone, comedian Matt Richardson and his pro-skater partner Vicky Ogden will be joining the line up from this weekend."

Dancing On Ice continues Sunday at 6pm on ITV.
