AJ ODUDU STEPS DOWN AS HOST OF MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT AFTERS

AJ Odudu has revealed she is to step down as host of Married at First Sight: Afters on E4 following the news she is to host ITV2's Big Brother reboot.

The show takes a peek behind the altar for plenty of behind the scenes gossip, interviews with the participants and experts and a sofa packed with famous faces and fans of the series, who’ll be revealing their thoughts on the weeks’ worth of drama.

Speaking to The Sun at the BAFTA TV Awards, AJ said: "I can’t do it this year – I’m so sad about it. I love Married at First Sight. I'd love to host it again, I'm obsessed with that show but I don't know when that will happen. Everyone has been so complimentary about Big Brother - I'm just enjoying it."

Married at First Sight UK was All 4’s third most streamed series of 2021 and alongside Married at First Sight Australia, MAFS was the biggest programme of the year for the streaming platform.

Married At First Sight UK returns this Autumn on Channel 4.
