LOVE ISLAND TONIGHT: SUNDAY 07 JULY 2024
Here's a rundown of what happens on tonight's episode of Love Island, which continues on ITV2 and ITVX.
SEAN HAS QUESTIONS FOR MATILDA
It's a new day in the Love Island Villa, as Sean and Wil spring to action in the kitchen, cooking breakfast for Matilda and Uma as an attempt to make amends for their Casa Amor antics.
However, it appears something is playing on Sean’s mind, as he pulls Matilda for a chat in the garden.
Sean admits: “I spoke to Jess briefly after our chat last night, and she was basically saying about how you were exploring stuff over there as well… I feel like I don’t know the full extent of it. She mentioned you showed interest in Hugo…”
Sean continues: “I feel like it’s just been swept under the carpet, and I’m just wanting to find out from you what could’ve happened and what you were up to…”
As tensions rise, what will Matilda have to say about Sean’s assumptions? And how will their relationship fare when Matilda seeks the truth from Jess?
THE TAPES ARE ROLLED AT THE LOVE ISLAND FILM FESTIVAL
Later that day whilst relaxing on the bean bags, Jessy receives a text, the message reads: “Islanders, It’s time to get red carpet ready as tonight you’ll take front row seats to the Love Island Film Festival. #UnreelRevelations #SceneItToBelieveIt”
Donning their best outfits to bring glitz and glamour to the Villa, Love Island’s infamous Movie Night is back with a glossy, high production A-list edge. Expect top tier drama as revelations are aired on the big screen causing chaos after Casa Amor.
As the Islanders take their seats at the Love Island Film Festival, Ciaran confidently says: “What could possibly go wrong?”
The Villa are treated to a series of films including titles such as ‘The Mat-Hil-Da's Have Eyes’ and ‘Wild Wil West”, as the revelations come thick and fast and actions behind closed doors are exposed for all to see.
When the tapes roll during the screening of ‘Es-Sex and The City’, it appears Grace is less than impressed as Joey’s actions come to light, branding him a child, she says: “It’s done now…bore off man.”
And as further drama from the Love Island Film Festival unfolds, who will be accused of “saying one thing to one of us within the same day, and one to the other”, which Islander will remark: “that’s disrespectful”, who will be told they’re “not the sharpest tool in the box” and which boy will controversially defend themselves to the shock of the Villa, admitting “I wanted to do it” and “I stand by what I did”?
A SURPRISE DUMPING ROCKS THE VILLA
And it appears the show isn’t over just yet, as mid fallout from movie night, the Islanders are told to retake their seats at the big screen..
With a shock twist, the Islanders are told: “The public have been voting for the most compatible couple…”
To round off an evening of drama, who will be safe and who will be sent packing, leaving the Villa immediately?
Love Island airs Sun-Fri at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
