LOVE ISLAND TONIGHT: MONDAY 24 JUNE 2024

Here's a rundown of what happens on tonight's episode of Love Island, which continues on ITV2 and ITVX.

JESS NEEDS CLARITY ON RONNIE

Following Tiffany’s departure from the Villa, Ronnie wasted no time in sitting down to rekindle with Harriett however Jess is confused where she now stands.

Speaking to Uma, Jess says: “I’ll be completely honest, straight away there was a smidge of me today there was a potential that I would be willing to explore something…the fact that like she’s been straight away buzzing, he will see that, he doesn’t need to put any effort in.”

Jess continues: “Even if it’s that he’s doing it because he doesn’t think the door is open with me, it’s giving that you are a bit desperate…”

Uma says: “Also, instead of not pulling you because he’s not sure if the door is open or not with you, find out…find out.”

Jess says: “Exactly, find out. All he needs to do is pull me and ask a question.”

Will Ronnie pull Jess for a chat and give her the answers she wants? Or is he full steam ahead with Harriett?

THE BOMBSHELLS TAKE CONTROL OF THE RECOUPLING

It’s a new day in the Villa as Jess gets a text and reads: “Can all Islanders gather around the firepit immediately.”

Sitting around the firepit, Harriett receives a text. She says: “Islanders, it’s now time to recouple. The girls will now pick which boys they’d like to couple up with. Konnor and Matilda as the newest arrivals you will get to pick first.”

As the recoupling begins one Islanders decision leaves the Villa shocked, with one Islander saying: “What the hell?”

But who has made a bold choice, shifting the dynamics in the Villa considerably? 

SEAN AND MATILDA HEAD FOR THE TERRACE

Sean takes Matilda to a place he’s never been before, the Love Island terrace.

Stepping outside, Matilda says: “Babe, I’ve not been on here yet.”

Settling down, Sean says: “You actually look amazing. I’m serious, you look beautiful. I’m so happy you’ve come through the door and I feel like I’m on the right track of something special.”

Will the outcome leave Sean shouting from the rooftops? Or will Matilda keep him on the slow burn?
