LOVE ISLAND TONIGHT: MONDAY 15 JULY 2024

Here's a rundown of what happens on tonight's episode of Love Island, which continues on ITV2 and ITVX.

‘SNOG, MARRY, PIE’ RETURNS

It’s a new day in the Villa, and time for the next Love Island challenge, as Grace receives a text which reads: “Islanders, It’s time to put your feelings out there and take it on the chin as you play SNOG, MARRY, PIE #PutARingOnIt #EyesOnThePies” 

Each Islander will choose one person to snog, one person to marry and one person to pie. As the fan favourite challenge returns, the Islanders don’t hold back, as one Islander shocks the Villa by choosing to lock lips with someone else outside of their current couple and one Islander receives the biggest pie of the day, for being a “sh** stirrer”. 

With one boy scoring a whopping 4 proposals proving he is marriage material, he says: “My wedding finger is a little bit sore with all the rings I had stored up on it today”. 

As it’s Mimii’s turn to take to the floor, she chooses to kiss Ayo, revealing: “I chose to snog this boy because we had a good connection whilst it lasted and it just made the most sense for this game for me I think.”

THE ISLANDERS CHEER ON ENGLAND FOR THE EUROS 

Following one of the most dramatic challenges yet, the Islanders receive their second text of the day, revealing a Love Island first, relating to news from the outside world. 

The text reads: “Islanders, tonight you will be able to watch the England football team play Spain in the final of the European Championships! #ComeOnEngland” 

With their spirits lifted, all the Islanders cheer and jump in the pool. Later that evening, they get ready for the all-important game, watching from the bedroom with flags and bunting as they cheer on England.

Following the game’s result, the Islanders head outside to raise a toast as Reuben has a personal message for the England squad, saying: “Not the result we wanted tonight everyone, but I’d say the boys did well, we got to the final and they did the country proud.” 

THE RESULTS OF SNOG, MARRY, PIE PLAYOUT LATER THAT EVENING

As the Islanders reflect on the day’s challenge, it appears there’s one particular moment on everyone’s lips.

Josh pulls Mimii for a chat in the den to get to the bottom of her kiss with Ayo. He starts by saying: “My thing is that where you have history with Ayo, like a deeper history, and you know how I felt about that coming in yeah, it just felt like, if you considered me a bit more you might have reconsidered that decision.” 

Mimi admits to Josh: “The feelings are still there” 

Josh quizzes her: “What do you mean the feelings are still there though?” 

Later on, Josh then pulls Ayo for a chat to reveal how he’s feeling about the kiss, admitting: “If it's a thing where this girl keeps doing these antics then I’m going to have to make a decision, because I’m better than that.” 

Meanwhile, Mimii has secret plans of her own as she enlists the help of Joey, saying to him: “When you next see Ayo, can you tell him to meet me on the terrace, I just wanna talk to him away from everyone…”
