LOVE ISLAND TONIGHT: WEDNESDAY 05 JUNE 2024

Here's a rundown of what happens on tonight's episode of Love Island, which continues on ITV2 and ITVX.

AYO AND MIMII GROW CLOSER

Ayo and Mimii head to the terrace for a chat. 

Ayo says, “I think after today everything has been put in perspective for a few people, especially for me anyway, you know what the score is.”

Mimii says, “What’s the score again?”

Ayo says, “I wanted to come up here just to say I’m more than attracted to you. I very much see you. You look so pretty.”

Ayo adds, “Can I show you something quickly?”

The pair then share a kiss. Do Ayo and Mimii only have eyes for each other? 

PATSY OPENS UP TO MUNVEER

Munveer pulls Patsy for a chat. Munveer says, “You look beautiful by the way.”

The pair are talking about life in the Villa and Patsy says, “There is one big thing that I was going to bring up. I haven’t really spoken to anyone about it.”

Munveer says, “Open up - I’m all ears.”

Patsy says, “I’ve got a disability, basically. I haven’t said anything to anyone yet because it’s an awkward thing to bring up. It’s a disability in my arm - I’ve got no strength, anything above shoulder height I can’t lift.”

Munveer says, “If you need any support, I’m here.” 

Patsy says, “Sometimes you think, I don’t know, that having something different you don’t know if everyone is going to find it completely sexy. But being different is cool.

Munveer says, “Absolutely. I really appreciate you sharing that with me.”

TENSIONS RISE AS ISLANDERS HEAD TO THE HIDEAWAY

Following Joey’s decision to couple up with Samantha, Harriett and Ciaran have a chat with Harriett revealing her top two are Ciaran and Joey. Harriett then says, “I’m glad he didn’t pick me though."

Ciaran says, “Are you glad?”

Harriett says, “Yeah because I didn’t want you to go.”

Later that evening Ciaran asks Nicole for a chat with the pair heading to the Hideaway. But Harriett is watching on and appears less than impressed and says, “Why am I jealous?”

At the Hideaway terrace, Nicole says to Ciaran, “Do you feel like you’re open to getting to know me?”

Ciaran says, “Definitely.” 

Meanwhile, Harriett is annoyed by Ciaran’s decision to head to the Hideaway and confides in Samantha. Harriett says, “I’m just pissed off.”

The next day, Harriett pulls Samantha for a chat and says, “I just wanted to pull you before. I’m going to pull him [Joey] but I don’t want you to think anything. I’m going to go to the Hideaway because I think Ciaran needs a taste of his own medicine.”

Samantha says, “Don’t be petty.”

Harriett then pulls Joey for a chat and the pair head to the Hideaway. Samantha is left frustrated by Harriett’s move. Will she tell her how she feels? And is Joey interested in getting to know Harriett or does he have his sights set on Samantha? 

A NEW GIRL MAKES HER ENTRANCE LOCKING LIPS WITH ALL THE BOYS

The Islanders have just got glammed up for the evening and are in the garden when Jess receives a text which reads, “Girls. It’s time for a game. Blindfold your boy. Line them up by the pool and then head to the terrace.  #nopeeping”

The boys line up by the pool and their girls place blindfolds on them before heading to the terrace. The sound of footsteps catches the girls’ attention as a new girl makes her entrance at the Villa. 

Heading over to the boys, the new girl shares a snog with each of the boys as the girls watch on from the terrace in disbelief. What does this new arrival mean for the rest of the Islanders?
