LOVE ISLAND TONIGHT: FRIDAY 16th JUNE 2023

JESS RETURNS FROM HER DATE, DEBRIEFS WITH SAMMY… AND GETS PULLED BY MITCH

Heading back from their date, Jess introduces new bombshell Scott to the Villa before catching up with Sammy to find out about his chats with Leah while she was gone.

Jess jokes: “Heard you were talking to Leah all night…”

Sammy laughs: “Not all night, stop it.”

Jess goes on to discuss how her date with Scott made her feel saying: “I’ve been open and honest with you. I still am open, it’s made me realise a little bit…”

Sammy interjects: “That you fancy me more than you thought..?”

Jess says: “Yeah. That’s how I feel genuinely…”

Sammy admits: “I chatted to Leah for quite a while. She’s got decent chat, she’s a very pretty girl, but I did keep thinking about you.”

But the night’s conversations aren’t over for Jess, as Mitch pulls her to get something off of his chest.

Mitch tells Jess: “I am available… I kind of want to get to know you a bit more.”

He adds: “The She’s A Keeper thing [football-themed challenge]… watching you, when you fell on your a**e I went, ‘I fancy this girl.’ I swear to god. Now you know I fancy you a bit.”

How will Jess respond to Mitch’s revelations?

BOMBSHELL SCOTT GETS GRAFTING

New bombshell Scott kicks off his plan to speak to all of the girls in the Villa with a bit of encouragement from Zach, who tells him: “You look like a mixture between a superhero and Prince Charming.”

Pulling Catherine for a chat at the mini fire pit, Scott asks her what she thought of him when he arrived.

Catherine says: “I was interested… I was intrigued. I was like, ‘Hmmm, what does he have to bring?’”

Smiling, Scott asks: “Am I bringing anything yet?”

Catherine replies: “Yeah…”

Later, while speaking to Molly, Scott asks about how her and Zach are getting on.

Molly says: “I found a connection with Zach and seeing where that goes, but obviously not closing myself off, staying open.”

Scott replies: “It doesn’t seem like anyone’s closed off.”

Molly says: “No and I don’t think anyone should be yet.”

SAMMY CHATS TO MITCH

After Mitch confessed to Medhi, Tyrique and Sammy that he’d pulled Jess for a chat, Sammy lets him know how he felt about his approach.

Sammy tells Mitch: “I’ll be real yeah, I thought it was a bit sly. Mentioning it in front of all the boys instead of just pulling me and just saying, ‘Sammy, I’m feeling Jess.’

He adds: “I haven’t got a problem with you chatting with her, I just thought it was just a little bit sly.”

Will Mitch agree?

ISLANDERS LEARN THE PUBLIC HAS BEEN VOTING

That night, the Islanders learn the public has been voting for their favourite boy and favourite girl.

They are called to the fire pit as one-by-one they learn which three boys and which three girls have been left vulnerable.

With all eyes on the all important text messages, who will get an unwelcome alert?
