JOE LYCETT'S LATE NIGHT LYCETT TO RETURN FOR CHRISTMAS SPECIAL ON CHANNEL 4

Joe Lycett's hugely successful late night comedy entertainment series Late Night Lycett is to return for a Christmas special later this year on Channel 4, TV Zone understands.

The series, which is broadcast live from Lycett's hometown of Birmingham, was broadcast on Channel 4 earlier this year. The commission followed the success of ‘Joe Lycett’s Big Pride Party’ in 2022. The Christmas special is understood to have been recorded when the main series was in production earlier this year.

Each episode a mix of Joe’s community of local legends, LGBTQ+ heroes and allies will join him alongside celebrities and big-name guests from the worlds of comedy, television, music and film.

With inclusivity and fun at its heart, the series sees Joe take a look back at the week in a way only he can – combining his unique brand of mischief and mayhem with his singular style of comedy. Shot on the banks of Birmingham’s canals, the show will bring a touch of Hollywood sparkle to Digbeth in a big night of unmissable entertainment.

Joe celebrates the week gone by with his own signature style of comedy, as he looks back at the biggest news stories, ropes his guests into games and sketches, and offers audience members the chance to win... his own possessions. Will Joe have anything left by the end of the series?
