JUNIOR BAKE OFF: NEW JUDGE REVEALED

Channel 4's Junior Bake Off begins filming, and there's a new judge in the tent.

Due to delays in filming the main series because of the Coronavirus Pandemic, Prue Leith is unable to judge the second series of Junior Bake Off.

The series will once again be presented by comedian Harry Hill. He will be joined by returning judge Liam Charles, a former Bake Off contestant and presenter of Bake Off: The Professionals, and new face Ravneet Gill. Ravneet is an author and pastry chef.

Taking to Twitter, Prue Leith explained why she won't be appearing on the next series: "I am so sorry not to be doing Junior this year, delays to filming meant that there was a clash with schedules, but I’m delighted to welcome Rav to the Bake Off family and hope she enjoys working on the show as much as I have."

Channel 4 also today confirmed that filming has wrapped on the new series of The Great British Bake Off, which will air later this year.
