Following the success of the summer series - that was filmed entirely during lockdown - John Torode and Lisa Faulkner continued working within the Covid guidelines to film a brand new series of John & Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen set to air this winter. 

During the ten week series, the pair will cover everything from how to bake the perfect bread and their versions of family classics to foods that will lift your mood and guarantee smiles over the dinner table this Christmas.

Every episode continues with its quick, hassle-free cooking mantra that the whole family can enjoy using easy-to-obtain ingredients, including delicious inspirational dishes taking you from breakfast time through to post dinner desserts, as well as added snack ideas inbetween. There will be ideas of what to cook your loved one for a special night in, and feel good family favourites including a vegetarian lasagne, spicy chicken, veggie chilli and nacho bake, plus pulled pork rolls, and sweet and sour prawn noodles. 

If that wasn’t enough, the duo will return to the kitchen in the New Year to help viewers with ideas of what to do with all their Christmas leftovers and healthy options for those wanting to start the year full of fresh food goodness and mood enhancing flavours.  

John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen begins Saturday 14th November at 11:40am on ITV.
