ITV STUDIOS 'BUY THE RIGHTS TO FRENCH FORMAT MYSTERY DUOS'

ITV Studios - the production company, not the broadcaster - have reportedly bought the rights to the French entertainment show.

The format sees musicians and celebrities singing a duet without knowing who their partner is.

Viewers know the identity of one and are given clues to guess who their performing partner is. The studio audience and contestants then discover who each other is when a screen separating them rises.

A TV insider told The Sun: “The concept could adapt in the UK, and at its heart is the same guessing game that is set to be a big draw for broadcasters. Plus it’s glitzy enough to slot right into a Saturday night schedule.”
