ITV: UPCOMING PROGRAMMING HIGHLIGHTS FOR SPRING AND SUMMER

A look ahead to some of the new and returning titles coming to ITV in the coming months. Transmission details for each show will be confirmed in due course.

Celebrity Big Brother

A new cast of famous faces isolated from the outside world as they embark on the ultimate social experiment, taking up residence in the brand new Big Brother house. Leaving luxury behind, the celebrities will take part in weekly nominations and tough tasks with cameras capturing their every move.

99 To Beat

Gameshow hosted by Adam & Ryan Thomas that anyone can win, but there’s one rule players must follow if they’re to be in with a chance of walking away with the cash prize – Don’t. Come. Last. As contestants battle it out against each other, each round will see the number of players whittled down until one person takes the top prize.

Genius Game

Brand-new reality gameshow hosted by David Tennant that will see strategically minded players, chosen not just for their high intellectual prowess but also their social IQ, face the ultimate battle of survival. To win, contestants will participate in a host of never before seen games all designed to not only test their intellectual acumen but encourage them to carefully and creatively use the art of manipulation to outfox their opponents and win a cash prize.

Soccer Aid

Since 2006 – when UNICEF UK Ambassador Robbie Williams co-founded the concept – Soccer Aid for UNICEF has raised over £90 million, all supporting UNICEF’s vital work helping millions of children around the world have happy, healthy, play-filled childhoods.

Noel’s Kiwi Kingdom

ITV follow Noel Edmonds at his New Zealand Haven for new series. A source told The Sun: "Noel’s incredible — and very eccentric — life is going to make TV gold... For his part, Noel would like the world to know he hasn’t retired, and this chapter of his life is a new adventure. There was a feeding frenzy from production companies to secure the rights, and everyone knows this could be a huge comeback for Noel."

DNA Journey

Uncovering amazing stories from their family histories, the three celebrity duos in this new series will be using cutting edge DNA technology and genealogy to uncover the truth behind their bloodlines, as well as coming face to face with living relatives they never before knew existed.

Ridley (S2)

The new series will start with Ridley (Adrian Dunbar) investigating a jewelry heist that turns into a murder case, working with an undercover source whose cover soon risks being compromised. Ridley checks out the manager of the jewelry company, thinking it could’ve been an inside job.

Grace (S5)

John Simm returns as Detective Superintendent Roy Grace for another four feature length films (4 x 120 minutes) which will air on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player. Based on the best-selling novels from globally renowned author Peter James, series five will comprise of the following four films - Dead If You Don't, Dead At First Sight, Need You Dead and Find Them Dead.

Malpractice

Tom Hughes will play Dr James Ford, a Psychiatric Registrar in a North Yorkshire hospital. His personal life is a mess, and his colleagues might find him arrogant, but he appears committed to his vulnerable patients. So when he finds himself torn between a new mother attending a routine postnatal check-up and the sectioning of a floridly psychotic woman during a busy on-call shift, no one could predict the terrible consequences.

Code Of Silence

Code of Silence introduces us to Deaf catering worker, Alison Woods. She’s struggling to make ends meet, juggling two jobs, in a police canteen and a local bar, while also doing her best to support her Deaf mum, Julie. When DC Ashleigh Francis calls on Alison to lip read the conversations of some dangerous criminals, she is plunged into a new and exhilarating world.
