ITV ANNOUNCES NEW SATURDAY MORNING PROGRAMMING LINE-UP FOR 2026

ITV has announced a new Saturday morning lineup for January 2026 including an extended helping of James Martin’s Saturday Morning; following a bumper series this year which saw its highest share of viewing since 2017.

Commissioned by Katie Rawcliffe and Leanne Clark, the new lineup for 2026 will build on ITV’s Saturday morning success in 2025 which has seen share of viewing grow by +8%. Alongside new James Martin will be a brand new series with Ainsley Harriott plus the return of TV favourite Prue Leith. 



After an impressive run of series one and two, Prue Leith’s Cotswold Kitchen will return to ITV for a highly anticipated third series. Continuing to charm audiences with her signature warmth and delicious recipes, Prue and her husband John, will be inviting more guests into their picturesque Cotswolds home. 


Viewers will then be treated to an extended version of James Martin’s Saturday Morning, which will now run until midday. The popular chef’s style and passion for food will fill a generous slot across two and half hours, promising a feast of great recipes, celebrity guests and lively entertainment. 


Following James Martin, the much-loved Ainsley Harriott will embark on a vibrant culinary adventure in a brand-new 30 minute show, Ainsley’s Taste of the Bahamas, where he will explore the rich flavours and culture of the Caribbean.



Assistant Commissioner, ITV Entertainment and Daytime, Leanne Clarke, said: “We are thrilled to bring this stellar lineup to our Saturday mornings. With the return of the much loved Prue Leith’s Cotswold Kitchen and extended James Martin’s Saturday Morning, plus a new exciting series with Ainsley Harriott, we are confident that our viewers will have even more reason to wake up with ITV on Saturdays, enjoying a truly entertaining start to the weekend.” 


Prue Leith’s Cotswold Kitchen Series 3 is a 15 x 60’ Yeti production for ITV. The Executive Producers are Sian Price and Sarah Stevenson and Series Producer is Sara Allen.


James Martin’s Saturday Morning  is a 42 x 150’ Blue Marlin production for ITV. The Executive Producers are Fiona Lindsay and Jon Holman. 



Ainsley’s Taste of the Bahamas is a 10 x 30’ Rock Oyster Media production for ITV. The Executive producers are Charlotte Davis and David Nottage and Series Producer is Claire Wilkes.
