Coronation Street royalty Barbara Knox will celebrate her milestone 90th birthday with a very special one-off documentary coming to ITV1 and ITVX this October. The Street stalwart, who has played the iconic Rita Tanner continuously for over half a century, will join Bradley Walsh as she looks back on the highlights from an illustrious career in television and theatre.



Gino’s Italy: Secrets of the South

In his latest series, Gino is heading on a food odyssey back to his homeland’s true hidden gems as he explores Italy’s least explored regions of the deep south: Puglia and Basilicata. This two-part series follows the late Paul O’Grady as he travels through Thailand and Laos to celebrate the work done by elephant conservation centres to rescue, rehabilitate and protect these most majestic, but vulnerable, of animals. In this intimate and emotional documentary, Lorraine Kelly revisits the small Scottish hillside town of Lockerbie, a place which was changed forever when it became the scene of the deadliest terror attack in UK history. Directed by BAFTA-winning Leo Burley (The Real Mo Farah, Patrick Kielty: My Dad, the Peace Deal and Me), this film depicts how in December 35 years ago, before Lorraine was a household name, she was one of the first TV reporters to arrive after Pan Am Flight 103 exploded mid-air, killing all 259 people aboard and 11 on the ground.
