INSIDE THE AIRPORT SHELVED BY BBC AFTER ONE SERIES

Exclusive - Inside The Airport, the BBC One series fronted by Jeremy Spake and based at London's Heathrow Airport, will not be returning for a second run.

In the series, Jeremy Spake returned to his old stomping ground, Heathrow, to see how the airport is coping during the most challenging time in its history - the Covid Pandemic.

Jeremy Spake was a Ground Services Manager who became the star of BBC One’s long-running Airport. He spendt time with their teams working in frontline roles throughout the airport and aircraft – from engineers to airside operations managers, lounge hosts to pilots.

A BBC spokesperson told TV Zone: "Inside the Airport did a brilliant job in unpacking a unique moment in Heathrow’s history as it tackled the challenges of Covid, so there are no current plans to bring it back. We loved working with Jeremy and we are very proud of the series."
