I'M A CELEBRITY 2022: THE RUMOURS SO FAR

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! returns which can mean only one thing… the time has come for a brand new cast of celebrities to battle it out in TV’s toughest entertainment challenge.

Returning to its home in Australia after a two-year break, our celebrities will leave their plush pads and luxuries far behind as they spend up to three weeks taking on the Australian jungle with a whole host of surprises created just for them.

Whoever does end up in the legendary jungle camp will find themselves cut off from the outside world and their fate will be in the hands of viewers who could decide to send them into a dreaded Bushtucker Trial.

The rumours

Boy George

Singer/Songwriter

A source told The Sun: "Boy George is a real coup for producers, there is a lot of excitement in-house at ITV. The singer is renowned for his dry wit and frank delivery, he is always outspoken and will be hilarious value in camp."

Charlene White

Newsreader and Presenter

A rouce told The Sun: "She’s got some strong opinions, but is really personable and will be good value around the Aussie campfire. They hope her journalistic background means she will eke out some illuminating conversations from her campmates, which shouldn’t be hard given some of the people she’ll be sleeping in a bunk next to."

Chris Moyles

Radio Presenter

A source told The Sun: "Chris has signed up and is preparing himself mentally and physically to go Down Under. Fans of the show are in for a real treat and Chris has no doubt there will be some people who will be ringing to vote for him to do some of the gruelling trials."

Seann Walsh

Comedian

A source told The Sun: "Seann is an incredible signing for I’m A Celebrity and it’s a real coup for ITV. His snog with Katya [Jones] is the biggest scandal to have ever hit Strictly. People still talk about it. Seann has joked about his snog with Katya in his comedy sketches but he’s never spoken in detail about their relationship."

Olivia Attwood

Reality star

A source told The Sun: "This is a sign that the dating favourite is now so big and produces figures with such high profiles that they can no longer be dismissed."

Owen Warner

Actor

A source told The Sun: "Owen is so excited to be in the mix. He’s never done anything like this, and it would catapult his profile to a new level. His abs are on-point so he wouldn’t be shy about showing off his bod."

Babatunde Aleshe

Comedian

A source told The Sun: "Bosses are really excited to have Babatunde in the mix. He’s become a firm favourite with Celebrity Gogglebox viewers and producers reckon he’ll be a great campmate."

Adebayo Akinfenwa

Former Footballer

A source told The Sun: "Ade is in the frame and would be keen on appearing. He was a hardman on the pitch, but is a gent off it. He’s also charismatic and funny and knows loads of people in the game,"

Sue Cleaver

Actress

"Sue is a very much-loved Street legend and the bosses are delighted to have her as part of the line-up this year. She will be a brilliant addition, and is looking forward to really pushing out of her comfort zone and challenging herself in the jungle."

BAFTA award-winning hosts Ant & Dec are back to present all the big stories live every night. Who will be crowned this year’s King or Queen of the Jungle?

I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! returns this November on ITV1.
