I CAN SEE YOUR VOICE RETURNS TO BBC ONE FOR SECOND SERIES

BBC One's singing contest returns for a second series later this year.

Each episode will see a contestant aim to win a cash prize by guessing who can and can’t sing from a group of mystery singers standing before them. But there’s a catch. Can the contestant predict who has the voice of an angel or who will leave them covering their ears in horror - all without ever hearing them belt out a tune.

As the mystery singers navigate through a series of challenges, they will be offering entertaining hidden clues to the panel of celebrity experts who will help the contestant whittle down the group until there’s only one singer left.

The chosen one will then perform a duet with a celebrity singer to reveal whether they can or can’t sing. If the contestant has picked a good singer then they will take the prize… but if a bad singer is revealed, the imposter will pocket the cash.

Kate Phillips, Controller Entertainment at the BBC, said: "We are so pleased that I Can See Your Voice will be returning. I know viewers have really enjoyed playing along with our very funny, frank panel, as we all hold our breaths for those memorable moments when a great or gruesome singer starts belting out a banger!"

Amelia Brown, Executive Producer, said: "We’re thrilled to be able to share the news that I Can See Your Voice will be making a return to our screens. It’s incredible to see how viewers have embraced the format which has seen some unique and notable performances."

I Can See Your Voice returns later this year on BBC One and iPlayer.
