HUW EDWARDS NAMED AS PRESENTER SUSPENDED BY BBC AFTER ALLEGATIONS
Vicky Flind, the wife of news reader Huw Edwards, has named him as the BBC presenter facing allegations over payments for sexually explicit images in a statement issued on his behalf.
The Met Police have tonight issued a statement saying there is "no information to indicate that a criminal offence has been committed" and there will be no further police action.
Huw's wife Vicky Flind has released a statement saying he's "suffering from serious mental health issues" and is now "receiving in-patient hospital care where he will stay for the foreseeable future". She's asked for privacy for her family.
