Production has commenced on the third series of House Of The Dragon, based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood and set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones telling the story of House Targaryen, for HBO and Sky.

Cast returning for the third series include Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy, Olivia Cooke, Steve Toussaint, Rhys Ifans, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Phia Saban, Jefferson Hall, Matthew Needham, Tom Bennett, Kieran Bew, Kurt Egyiawan, Freddie Fox, Clinton Liberty, Gayle Rankin, and Abubakar Salim.
New casting include Tommy Flanagan as Ser Roderick Dustin, James Norton as Ormund Hightower and Dan Fogler as Ser Torrhen Manderly. Directors are Clare Kilner, Nina Lopez-Corrado, Andrij Parekh, and Loni Peristere.
In the last series, Westeros is on the brink of a bloody civil war with the Green and Black Councils fighting for King Aegon and Queen Rhaenyra, respectively. As each side believes theirs to be the rightful seat on the Iron Throne, the Green and Black trailers reflect those two perspectives in separate yet complementary halves of the same story.
House Of The Dragon is available to stream now.
