HOLIER THAN THOU: NEW COMEDY PILOT COMING TO UKTV

Four half-hour UKTV original pilots especially commissioned for Dave and written by underrepresented talent, made and performed by diverse groups. All four films will be shown over consecutive nights.

Written by Misha Adesanya, this film is about three young adults as they navigate sex, faith, and relationships, while attending the conservative, African evangelical church they were raised in.

Newcomers Princess Khumalo, Tomi Ogbaro and Jordan Williams star as Shola, Chuks and Victor in the halfhour pilot.

Penned by Mancunian writer-actor Misha Adesanya, Holier Than Thou is set in Manchester and co-stars Cyril Nri, Michelle Greenidge, Daon Broni, Ayesha Griffiths and Eavan Malunga.

It is directed by Ian Aryeh (In The Long Run) and produced by Jon Aird, who worked as digital producer on Inside No. 9 and Psychoville.

Airs Thursday 25th August at 10pm on Dave.
