THE HANDMAID'S TALE SERIES 5 IS COMING TO CHANNEL 4
Both Channel 4 and Prime Video are to debut the fifth series of The Handmaid's Tale, which will be the penultimate in the franchise.
Series 5 will follow June as she faces up to the consequences of her involvement in the murder of Commander Waterford last series June, Luke and Moira continue to wage war on Gilead from a distance as they continue their mission to save and reunite with Hannah.
Channel 4's Nick Lee said: "Over the series, The Handmaid’s Tale has remained reflective, high quality and hard hitting." Hulu previously confirmed that the sixth season the drama will be the last, though hinted a spin-off series may follow.
Creator Bruce Miller said: "It has been a true honour to tell the story of Margaret Atwood's groundbreaking novel and chillingly relevant world, and we are thrilled to bring viewers a sixth and final season of The Handmaid's Tale...
