PATRICK CHRISTYS JOINS GB NEWS TO CO-HOST MORNING PROGRAMME

Journalist and political commentator Patrick Christys is joining GB News as co-host of a new morning show 'To The Point' with Mercy Muroki every weekday 9am-12pm. The programme launches on Monday.

Patrick joins from talkRADIO where he hosted the drivetime show. He has reported from refugee camps on the Syrian and Iraqi borders and travelled the migrant route through Morocco and into Spain.

Patrick said: "GB News is already changing the conversation and setting the news agenda rather than following it, which is exactly what I love doing most...

"Mercy and I will not be afraid to tackle the punchy issues that Britons really care about but that are, too often, ignored by others. We'll dare to stand up and say what people are really thinking."

As part of wider schedule changes on GB News from Monday, Simon McCoy has moved to The Great British Breakfast - where he is co-hosting with Kirsty Gallacher.
