BAKE OFF: THE PROFESSIONALS RENEWED FOR SEVENTH SERIES ON CHANNEL 4

The search for the best patisserie team in Britain will return next year with a brand-new batch of pastry chefs hailing from hotels, patisserie shops and small ventures around the UK.

The series is hosted by comedian Ellie Taylor alongside previous Bake Off star Liam Charles. As always, the teams will face two days of testing challenges judged by two world-class pâtissier experts, Benoit Blin and Cherish Finden.

A team will consist of one Team Captain and one assistant pastry chef (the Team Mate). The Team Captain must be of senior/head pastry chef level. The Team Mate can be at any other professional level (e.g. sous, chef de partie, commis).

Each team will represent the team captain’s current employer (the Establishment) or, where the team captain is not currently employed, an appropriate team name will be chosen to be approved by Love Productions.
