The teams face testing challenges judged by world-class patisserie experts Benoit Blin and Cherish Finden.

It's the quarter-final, and Liam and Tom welcome back the five best teams. For the first challenge, the teams must create 24 Black Forest gateaux and 24 mini roulades, all in three and a half hours.

For the second challenge, the teams go back to the 70s and to disco, as they combine sugar and chocolate work in a spectacular showpiece incorporating desserts. Judges Benoit and Cherish get out their disco shoes as they decide which four teams have played the right tune and will be going through to the semi-final, and which creations don't bring enough flair to stay in the competition.
