Teams of pastry chefs from top hotels, restaurants and small businesses compete to be crowned best patisserie team in Britain, facing testing challenges judged by world-class patisserie experts Benoit Blin and Cherish Finden.
In this episode, Liam and Tom welcome the three best teams from both sets of heats, as they face new rivals and increasingly difficult challenges. For the first challenge, the teams must create 24 identical classic almond pithiviers and individual savoury brioche, all in just three and a half hours.
In the second challenge, they must produce a striking sugar showpiece, inspired by a futuristic jungle theme, along with two types of delicious confectionery of their choosing. Which five teams will earn themselves a place in the quarter-final, and who will be going home? '
