Bake Off: The Professionals will return to Channel 4 in 2023 for a brand new series and another search for the best patisserie team in Britain.
The latest series, which continues on Tuesday nights on Channel 4, was hosted by Liam Charles and brand-new host Stacey Solomon. The duo welcomed teams of pastry chefs hailing from establishments in Manchester, Cumbria, Wiltshire, Birmingham and London.
As always, they face two days of testing challenges judged by world class pâtissier experts Benoit Blin and Cherish Finden. To apply for the next series, click here.
The recommission is part of Channel 4 and Love Productions' deal, agreed in late 2021, which will see the extension of the license of The Great British Bake Off for a further three years until 2024 on Channel 4.
Richard McKerrow, Chief Executive Love Productions, said at the time: “We are delighted to have extended Bake Off’s stay on Channel 4 for another three years. Love Productions’ long-term commitment with Channel 4 illustrates a deep, warm, mutual respect and partnership which enables us to bring Bake Off to the widest audience possible.”
Ian Katz, Chief Content Officer at Channel 4 added: “We are thrilled that Channel 4 will continue to serve up Bake Off’s unique combination of warmth, humour and soggy bottoms for years to come...
"Bake Off is all about optimism, celebrating eccentricity and bringing the nation together – precisely what a publicly owned Channel 4 is here to do.”
Bake Off: The Professionals continues Tuesday nights at 8pm on Channel 4. Previous episodes available on All4.
