BAKE OFF REVEALS BAKERS FOR 2022 FESTIVE SPECIALS

Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding invite the stars from Channel 4's past to join them in the famous white tent to celebrate Christmas.

This year's annual Christmas Special is a celebrity edition to celebrate Channel 4 's 40th birthday year. The celebrities entering the tent this Christmas are former host of The Big Breakfast, Gaby Roslin; Time Team's Tony Robinson; Pop World's Maquita Oliver; former host of The World, Terry Christian and Brookside star Clare Sweeney.

Judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood will preside over the hotly contested competition to see who knows their sieves from their spatulas in the first of two festive episodes airing on Channel 4 over the holiday period.

The week after will see a New Year Special broadcast on Channel 4, which will see ex-bakers return to the tent. They are Chigs (Series 2021), Lottie (2020), Manon (2018) & Antony (2018). They compete over three seasonal challenges to see who will win the first Star Baker crown of 2023.

The Great Christmas Bake Off and The Great Festive Bake Off will be on Channel 4 during the festive season.
