The teams face testing challenges judged by two world-class patisserie experts, Benoit Blin and Cherish Finden.
In this episode, Liam and Tom welcome six new teams from hotels, patisserie shops and small ventures. In the first challenge, the teams must produce two different types of miniature classics - the lemon meringue pie and everyone's favourite pick me up, the tiramisu.
They must make 24 perfect and identical items of each pastry in just three and a half hours. In the second challenge, the teams must transform an ordinary dessert into an incredible fine-dining experience for their showpiece.
For this heat it's the humble fruit crumble, complete with breathtaking towering edible showpiece sculptures. Which teams will summon up all their patisserie prowess to impress the judges and stay in the competition, and which team will leave the competition?
