The new series continues at its brand-new Manchester restaurant.

The first dater to arrive this time is 22-year-old Keira from Chester. She's a black belt in taekwondo, with Paralympic prospects, but when it comes to dating Keira is far from the top of her game. A self-declared 'tomboy with tits', she is no stranger to the friendzone, with most guys seeing her as 'one of the lads'.

Keira's date is former Mansfield and Notts County footballer Max, who's 22 and is no stranger to being left on the bench when it comes to dating. His only girlfriend dumped him to go back to her ex! Will their shared dating history and love of sport be enough to help this pair establish a romantic connection?

Double-divorcee Charlotte is hoping to make it third time lucky, but the 58-year-old just can't find the right man. She admits she can be a little fussy - with chunky thighs, not too fat, not too thin, and man of the world at the top of her wish list.

Enter six-foot-four Simon, who, on first impressions, certainly seems to measure up. Luxury car sales advisor Sam, who's 37, likes his women the same as his favourite cars, 'fast and topless'.

Still bruised from the breakdown of his marriage, Sam is embarking on a brave new adventure, where he plans to be honest and open about his interest in the kinkier side of relationships. But how do you raise the subject of BDSM on a first date? How open will former primary school teacher MJ be to Sam's wish list?

Teaching assistant Lauren is no stranger to the First Dates restaurant. On her last visit to the restaurant, Lauren had her head turned by another dater, one who fitted the 'bad boy' image she finds most attractive. This time she's been matched up with him, Danny - 'the boy from the bar'. Will their date live up to expectations?
