EGGHEADS MOVES TO CHANNEL 5

The former BBC Two quiz has found a new home on Channel 5.

Host Jeremy Vine said: "The programme which I presented for more than 10y ears, Eggheads, one of the greatest quizzes in the history of British TV is moving to Channel 5 later this year. I'm sure fans of Eggheads will share my delight that it has found a new home."

Judith Keppel, one of the Eggheads, said: "I'm thrilled to bits. I can't tell you how lovely it will be to have something to do at last!"

Last year, the BBC said it was resting the popular daytime quiz.

Eggheads returns later this year on Channel 5.
