IS THIS ADHD?: SAM THOMPSON TO FRONT NEW E4 DOCUMENTARY

Reality star Sam Thompson is to front a new Channel 4 documentary exploring ADHD, and whether he himself has the disorder.

Thompson, who has appeared in reality shows such as Made In Chelsea, Celebrity Big Brother, The Celebrity Circle and was recently announced as the new co-host of ITV's The Love Island podcast, will discover whether he has the disorder in the programme.

In the 1x60' documentary, Sam will travel around the country meeting people who've been diagnosed with ADHD later in life to better understand the condition and how other people have dealt with their diagnosis.

Sam told The Sun: "This documentary is the most vulnerable I’ve felt in front of the camera, as I wanted to be totally open about how I react to people in situations, and whether these could be linked to ADHD...

"It’s been an incredible and, at times, scary experience, but by exploring what’s been going on inside my head, I hope people can see that we should be more understanding before judging others."

A source also told The Sun: "Sam is warm, engaging and curious and never more than here when trying to dig deeper into something so close to home. He wanted to know more about ADHD and late diagnosis, how this neurodivergence presents in different people and if it could affect relationships like his and Zara’s — and how medication might work."

Sam Thompson: Is This ADHD? is to air later this year on E4. More details will be revealed in due course.
