REPORTS: MILLIE GIBSON TO HAVE REDUCED ROLE IN DOCTOR WHO SEASON 2

New reports from The Mirror newspaper tonight suggest Millie Gibson is to have a reduced role in Season 2 of Doctor Who, appearing in three of the eight episodes.



The Mirror is reporting the casting of a brand new companion, played by Varada Sethu. It is understood Sethu has already started filming scenes in Cardiff for the second season, which is set to air in 2025.



Millie Gibson's Ruby Sunday will be a full-time companion to Ncuti Gatwa's Fifteenth Doctor for Season 1 which is due to launch this May on BBC One in the UK and on Disney+ in the rest of the world.


TV Zone approached the BBC for comment.
