RuPAUL'S DRAG RACE UK RETURNS THURSDAY 22 SEPTEMBER ON BBC THREE
BBC Three has announced the return of the critically acclaimed and award winning series, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, which will land back on screens on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer on 22nd September.
Viewers can expect more death drops, tricks, splits and stunning looks across 10 ten fabulous weeks.
Global drag icon, and judge supremo, RuPaul presides as twelve of the nation’s most fabulous queens compete to be crowned the UK’s Next Drag Race Superstar.
Series one, two and three of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK have been streamed over 51 million times on BBC iPlayer, firmly establishing the title as a much loved, highly lauded, competitive reality smash hit for BBC Three, making it one of the BBC’s top activating titles on iPlayer for young audiences.
Each week, the queens compete in various challenges in the hope that they have impressed Ru enough to avoid being one of the bottom two queens facing a lip sync for their life and elimination from the competition.
Queen of queens, Mama Ru has the ultimate say on who shantays or sashays away, but each week, Ru is joined on the judging panel by Michelle Visage, an extra special celebrity guest judge and, on a rotational basis, Graham Norton and Alan Carr.
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK is an 10x60' World of Wonder production for BBC Three. It was commissioned by Fiona Campbell, Controller BBC Three and Kate Phillips, in her capacity as Director of Entertainment.
The Executive Producers for World of Wonder are Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato, Tom Campbell, RuPaul Charles, Bruce McCoy and Johnni Javier and the BBC Commissioning Editor is Ruby Kuraishe.
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Series 4 returns to BBC Three and BBC iPlayer on 22nd September at 9pm.
